About Me
Thanks for stopping by! I'm Angelena (Ange) – a Canadian/American writer. I have a BA in Creative Writing/Screenwriting with a double minor in nonfiction and psychology. In 2023, I completed my MA in Creative Writing/Screenwriting from Southern New Hampshire University. I'm also a member of Sigma Tau Delta, the International English Honor Society.
Ever since I was a child, I dreamed of someday leaving my small Canadian town and moving to Los Angeles. When I was twenty-four, that dream came true. You can read about my move in Chicken Soup for the Soul here.
Today, I live in Los Angeles with my husband (and cat and hummingbirds). I have published work both online and in print. With over ten years of experience as a freelance writer, I've done content writing, copywriting, editing, and ghostwriting for websites, articles, blog posts, press releases, and everything in between. In addition, I created a gift book collection, Remember When that sells online and in select bookstores. I'm also the author of several children's books, some of which will be released in the fall of 2024. I'm currently the assistant writer and editor for Lighthouse Learning, where I oversee the production of children's picture books and educational activity books.
I've written several short screenplays and two feature-length (not yet in development) and am currently working on a few other projects. In addition to writing, I have experience with website design, graphic design, social media management, and marketing.
When I'm not writing, you can find me at the beach, chasing sunsets or watching Hallmark movies.
